A database of Final Fantasy VII, not a page about it
Every entity in the 1997 game — who they are, what realises them in the game files, and when each of those facts was true — plus a separate layer for original characters and lore built on top of it.
The two ideas
- Facts carry their own validity. Cloud is Shinra infantry from 2000 to 2002 and a mercenary from 2007, and both live in the same field as dated windows. Ask the corpus who was in AVALANCHE during the Reactor Boom and it can answer, because the answer is stored rather than narrated.
- Everything extrapolated says so. A value is stated when the 1997 game says it, inferred when it is a reading, and invented when it is original to this project. Marking is cheap and the default is free, so canon costs nothing to write and nothing invented can quietly become canon.

How finished is it?
1,814 entity pages exist, and 22 of them have been written. The rest were generated from the game's own archive indexes — a page exists because a skeleton in char.lgp carries that name, and nothing else about it is known yet. They are marked stub, they are reachable and linkable, and they are kept out of search results until somebody writes them.
The corpus is dudhasch/OpenMidgar-Wiki, licensed GPL-3.0-or-later, and this site renders it at a pinned commit — c3980e42. Corrections belong there, where they are reviewed, rather than here.
